Cancun, Mexico - Mexican police on Thursday found the body of the wife of the "Survivor" TV series producer Bruce Beresford-Redman and detained her husband as a suspect in her death, a local official said.
Monica Burgos disappeared on Monday in the Caribbean beach resort of Cancun after leaving to go shopping.
Her husband was "suspected of being responsible" for her death, an official from the Quintano Roo state prosecutor's office told local media.
The body of Burgos, who was of Brazilian origin, was found 80m from their room in the five star Moon Palace Hotel. - Sapa-AFP
